Shatta Wale Detained: Sammy Flex Confirms Singer Must Pay GHS10 Million for Release

Media personality Samuel Atuobi Baah, also known as Sammy Flex, has confirmed that Shatta Wale has been detained by EOCO for questioning for fraud and tax offences.

Sammy Flex, the artist’s current manager and Head of Media and PR, said in a self-recorded video posted on his facebook page that, the singer must pay a hefty amount of GHS10 million as a bond and release condition.

He emphasised that Shatta Wale remains in EOCO custody following his invitation to the office about the ongoing investigations into his Yellow Lamborghini.

Flex stated that his boss has not been linked to any fraud or money laundering issues, as previously reported by Hellovybes, several media houses, and other media outlets.

He confirmed that the reports are entirely incorrect because the musician is only complying with officials’ requests for tax payments for his Lamborghini automobile and his current businesses, which he has run for many years.

The former Zylofon Media presenter revealed that Shatta Wale spent the night in EOCO custody due to lack of time, resulting in unfinished bailout payments and procedures.

He revealed that Shatta Wale’s lawyer, Cephas Biyou, who is now in the EOCO headquarters, is making all effort to assist him throughout the interrogation and get him out of detention over the tax issue.

Sammy Flex then assured the SM fans to disregard any falsehood news about Shatta Wale involved in fraudulent activities as widely speculated and spread by online portals.
