Charles Nii Amrah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has gifted his friend Gh100,000 as birthday present in Kumasi.
This comes after the reggae-dancehall artist was seen in a video signing a $100,000 cheque, which stunned the revellers at the party.
Following his gift to the friend, Shatta Wale revealed the rationale behind the present, stating that he had done a lot for him through his difficult times.
He claimed that Henry Rich Game was the inspiration behind his present style of living and had first provided funding for the majority of his music videos in order to catapult his musical career.
However, few hours after Shatta dashing huge amount of money to his friend, online commenters, claimed that the cheque on which the Dollar amount was signed was a local cheque, meaning that it was a fake cheque.

Others suggested that Shatta might own a part in the business account depicted on the cheque with the name “Henrycom Ventures.”
