Stonebwoy has said that Shatta Wale is not on his level and that he would not beef with the dancehall artist again because he does not worth the back and forth.
His statement comes in response to the Legon show being cancelled after Shatta Wale accused him of playing a role in Shatta Wale’s ‘no show’ at the Reunion Rave event last weekend on the Legon Campus.
This caused heated debate among fans as to why the musician was unable to perform at the event powered by West Wave Africa due to a school-issued order.
The Deans of Student Affairs later issued a statement to admonish Shatta Wale’s allegations against Stonebwoy, citing that they were unaware of such a programme to be hosted on the campus.
However in a recent interview on Asaase Radio, Stonebwoy reacting to the Legon show cancellation incident claims to have no hand in it because he is not an event organizer.
According to him, Shatta Wale always find a way to make him look very poweful with his accusations however he wont abuse it if he had such power to stop him from perfoming.
“That’s ridiculous to have heard because it just like waking up in the morning to being accused strongly of extra powers because I still exist in all dimension” but if even I have such power I can’t abuse it and I have nothing at all to do with that.
He continued; ‘So I’m surprise where the accusations will be coming from and I believe it normal for a brother like him to find a way to make me look powerful. That’s all I can say for now because I don’t know where to even start it from, I only went to perform my event and that’s all I can remember”
During the interview, Stonebwoy made it clear that he is not in a rivalry with Shatta Wale, as many think because he is a family man.
“ I’m not in a rivalry with anybody and I have to state that and this is good opportunity to let the world know that I’m not in no rivalry to any situation because I’m a married man solid I’m not fighting anybody. A beef or rivalry is when it gets replies or back and forth so is not qualified to be called a rivalry’— Stonebwoy concluded.
