Reggae dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has offered some ‘secret codes’ to aspiring musicians who want to be successful, but comes with a fee.
He made this claim during his Live session on TikTok stating that he holds the key to success in the music industry.
“If you want to be a successful musician as I am, see Sammy Flex and pay me something small for the code.” – he said.
Shatta Wale’s statement sheds light on upcoming musicians disappearing from the scene after one hit song, despite their talent.
The “Killer Ji Mi” hitmaker emphasises how industry gatekeepers have brainwashed young artistes to ignore their gimmicks.
He emphasises that they should not be boarded to come close to him or friend him only if they want to see their career flourish.
“Sometimes you will see some artist and later fade out along the way. If you are an artist and you don’t come to me for a code on how to live an artistic life you will go like the rest. Try and make me your friend and let’s be successful together. Don’t listen to those media talks because they don’t know what is good”— he concluded.
