Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has taken to social media to raised significant funds for the Buz Stop Boys; a local volunteer sanitation group dedicated to keeping Ghana clean.
This comes after Shatta Wale began the campaign during a live TikTok session in which the artist attempted to test the loyalty of his fans.
During the live stream, he encouraged his fans to show their love and support by donating to a cause close to his heart.
He set up a target of raising GHS10,000 in 10 minutes by encouraging supporters to send money directly to his phone.
This never slowed the fans’ enthusiasm in reaching the target amount within the allocated time.

The rationale for the donation is to support the Buz Stop Boys, allowing them to continue their wonderful work in maintaining cleanliness across Ghana.
