Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, a potential Guinness World Record holder for the longest Cook-a-Thon, has publicly called out Shatta Wale, Samini, and Stonebwoy, urging them to apologize to her.
During an interview with Joy Prime, the professional chef expressed her disappointment with the aforementioned Ghanaian heavyweight musicians, pointing out that none of them attended her Cook-a-Thon in Tamale, contrasting their support for Afua Asantewa’s Sing-a-Thon event in Accra.
Chef Failatu emphasized that if any unfortunate incident had occurred in the northern sector, especially in Tamale where she hosted her cooking marathon, these artists would have used their huge influence and platform to speak about it.

“If something bad had happened in the north, they would have been talking about it. Not a single musician showed up in the north for this project. Not Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini”. I can sing their songs, and I have been doing videos for them on social media, so they owe us an apology.” She said in the interview.
Despite massive support from many Ghanaians in her attempt to break the Guinness world record with an impressive 227 hours of cooking in 10 days, Chef Failatu is patiently awaiting official recognition as the new Cook-a-Thon record holder, surpassing Alan Fisher’s previous record of 119 hours.
