Ghanaian-American based rapper, ShowBoy is reportedly been deported from the US to Ghana after serving six years in prison.
The controversial social media sensation, who is pursuing a music career, was jailed in the US in 2019 for stabbing a friend to death during a fight.
According to reports, Showboy was arrested after allegedly stabbing Junior US, a close friend of dancehall superstar Shatta Wale, in self-defense following a furious brawl.

The incident happened in March 2019 inside a Lawrenceville apartment during an attack that was filmed on an iPad, and a US court sentenced the founder of 2HypeGang to 6 years in jail after the final hearing of his case.

Before his arrest, the jury in the case was shown several social media posts in which Showboy threatened to murder the victim for reporting him to the police in the days leading up to the trial.

Based on this evidence, the jury found Safo guilty of aggravated assault but found him not guilty of aggravated assault and sentenced him to 15 years in prison, with six years to serve in custody.
He has been blaming AMG Boss Criss Waddle for setting him up ever since he was locked up, and he has consistently expressed remorse about the killing of Junior US despite admitting that he did in self-defense.
Showboy is released from prison and deported to Ghana after serving a six-year sentence.
