Popular Ghanaian preacher, Samuel Larbi Gyimah has asserts that smoking marijuana, also known as Wee, is not a sin.
According to Prophet Gyimah, ingesting ‘wee’ is not an evil deed because it is against one’s own self and body and not God.
The founder of King’s Word Family, in addition to bartering his words, stated that drinking alcohol is not a sin, as many believe.

Prophet Gyimah explained that engaging in such acts is not sinful because the Almighty God created these substances to help individuals who were in difficulties.
He went by highlighting the fact that ingesting the substances results in bodily harm and is a transgression against God.
Do you know that drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes are not evil acts against God? In fact, by damaging your body, you are only digging your own grave.

Hence, when someone smokes marijuana, they are progressively killing themselves rather than God as when someone dies as a result of disobedience, it is not God who takes their life.
“There exist three types of sins,” he said, “namely, transgressions against God, transgressions against ourselves, and transgressions against friends.”
Explaining why drinking is not a sin, he stated “If a drunken is driving carelessly on a road, he has not brought atrocity to God; he is enjoying himself but will die early,”
