King Ayisoba has revealed that, Reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale is doing great things because the spirit of late Terry Bonchaka resides in him.
In an interview with Kastle FM, King Ayisoba stated that Shatta Wale’s relevance and sustainability in the music industry is in line with the spirit of Late Terry Bonchaka.
According to him, even though he is happy for Shatta Wale on how he’s been able to make it through the storm of his career all these years but he believes it’s the spirit of his late colleague artist Terry Bonchaka who has helped shape his career more.
“Terry Bonchaka and Shatta Wale worked together before. And I thank God for the way Shatta Wale has made it through Dancehall music.
“He has made it bigger than Terry Bonchaka and I like that because Terry also supported Shatta Wale and he has his spirit in him”.
Ayisoba whose indigenous music is specifically designed for the international market also added that ; “if Terry Bonchaka hadn’t passed away, he would have outperformed Shatta Wale both in terms of success”.
He stressed that if Terry Bonhcaka had not died too young in that horrifying tragedy, he would have accomplished much more than Shatta Wale is currently doing.
“You see the way Shatta Wale has made Ghana proud? He is still Shatta Wale after 15 years in the industry. It is the same thing Terry Bonchaka would have done,” he told Amnasan Krakye in the interview.
