After media personality Sally Mann claimed that there was a plot against Shatta Wale to bring him down and push Stonebwoy to the Grammys, Stonebwoy has taken to social media to respond the criticism.
According to him, he is unbothered by negativity and remains committed to his artistic mission.
Stonebwoy tweeted in pidgin implying that people constantly talk about him treating his head as if they carry a heavy basket on their heads.
“My matter dey for their mouth and them dey carry me like abele for their head o. Abele kotoku – Oleku” #Shine – he said in the tweet.
He referenced a Bible verse to affirm that despite criticism or opposition, his reputation and legacy are unshakeable since he’s focusing on his musical journey.
“No matter what they hate me for, none a dem coulda wipe out Rasta name,” #Psalm23 — he added
Stonebwoy’s statement follows Sally Mann’s recent controversial comments, in which she claimed that there were deliberate efforts to sabotage Shatta Wale’s career in order to push Stonebwoy’s road to Grammy recognition.
