Tems, Burna Boy, and Rema have been announced as the headliners for the 2023 NBA All Star halftime show.

The theme of this year’s NBA All Star halftime show is Afrobeats, and it is scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.

Along with the Nigerian trio, Tems, Burna Boy and Rema, other artists such as Post Malone, Jewel, and others will grace and take over the centre stage that night.

American rapper and a singer Post Malone will kick off the show with series of Medley hits songs while Jewel and July Black will perform US National Anthems respectively ahead of the star-studded match.

Following the halftime performance, the Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will be honored for his achievements as the National Basketball Association’s new all-time scoring leader.

Although there will be player introductions from Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel, the biggest basketball celebration show will will host a slew of musicians at the venue, including Savage 21, Nicky Jam, and Kane Brown. Janelle Mane, Cordae, and Ozuna among others.

With this, Tems, Burna Boy, and Rema appear to be the first African musicians billed to perform at the 72nd NBA All Star halftime show. Congrats to them for making Africa proud.
