Africa’s finest rapper, Sarkodie has kicked off the new year with a new huge feature on the new version of Bob Marley’s Stir It Up.
Reggae legends Bob Marley and The Wailers ring in the new year with a reimagining of his classic ‘Stir It Up,’ which features our very own rap icon, Sarkodie.
The collaboration was announced on Twitter by Bob Marley’s management team late Wednesday, January 18th, 2023.
“A special new version of “Stir It Up” is coming THIS FRIDAY featuring Ghanaian 🇬🇭 artist @Sarkodie! Pre-save the track today at link in bio” the post read.
In response to the historical news, Sarkodie described the feature as the biggest moment in his life and career.
“One of the highest moments in my career/Life… such a blessing to lay my vocals right next to the original vocals of the legend,” he said in a tweet

The refix of ‘Stir It Up’ combines the signature guitar strums and soothing bounce with rapper Sarkodie‘s iconic flow. It is produced by ‘bhardest’ producer MOG, who has mostly worked on King Sark’s songs.
The Stir It Up refix song will be available on all digital music platforms on Friday, January 20, 2023.
