Jamaican Reggae musician, Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage has visited Ghana and was welcomed by Shatta Wale
The 3x Grammy Award-winning artist arrived in Ghana late Tuesday night for a collaboration with Shatta Wale on the song “Ready” off Morgan Heritage’s new album “Homeland”.
Gramps Morgan was greeted at Kotoka International Airport by a huge crowd with a beautiful display of Ga culture.

According to Gramps Morgan, he is 52% Ghanaian and 9% Nigerian after he did a DNA test to find out the origin of his African ancestry.
Shatta Wale and Gramps Morgan has already collaborated on a song called “Grateful” off the SM Boss’ upcoming album “Gift of God” which is still in the pipeline.
The “People Like You” singer in an Instagram post revealed why he visited Ghana after being welcomed by Shatta Wale to the country.

He also revealed the aim of the “Homeland” album, claiming to have reunited West and East African artists, including other artists from Uganda such as Eddy Kenny and J Chameleon.
