Top American singer, Usher has arrived in Ghana for the Global Citizen Festival in Accra
Usher and his crew paid a visit to Chorkor while hanging out and taking photos with other students and teachers from BASICS International School.
Usher was accompanied by SZN, who is also scheduled to perform at this year’s event took to social media to express his excitement after touring the Kakum and Boti Waterfalls and experiencing Ghanaian life for the first time.
Ghana Tourism Authority announced Usher and SZN’s arrival in Ghana by posting photos of them during their visit to Chorkor, which was powered by NGO BASICS International.
“Today, the Global Citizen Festival artistes, Usher and SZA visited the BASICS international school and toured the Chorkor community. BASICS International is an education- focused NGO in Chorkor, Accra, engaged in making education and childcare accessible in vulnerable communities. The organisation is also one of Global Citizen’s regional response partners for the End Extreme Poverty NOW campaign for Global Citizen Festival: Accra, Ghana Tourism Authority wrote.
This year’s Global Citizen Festival will feature live performances by Stormzy, Sarkodie, Tems, Stonebwoy, Gyakie, and H.E.R., among others. The event will place at Black Stars Square on Saturday September 24, 2022.
However, in the late hours of Friday night, a video surfaced online that captured Usher Black Sherif hanging out with Usher in an Accra night Club.

The RnB singer, Usher also link up with Sarkodie, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensah, Tony Baffour among others in Accra ahead of their Global Citizen Festival happening on Saturday.
During their link up in the night club, Usher was also seen jamming to Black Sherif’s songs which has sparked a huge reaction on line.
Netizens expressed their opinion claiming the Yeah crooner already has fell in love with Black Sherif following the Global Citizen festival show.
