A video showing media personality Kofi Adomah of Kofi Tv being shot in the eye has surfaced online, shocking many of his fans.
The video circulating on the internet depicts some chiefs firing muskets at a traditional festival in Dormaa
The incident which happened two weeks ago during the arrival of the convoys saw Kofi Adomah repositioning himself while covering the event.
Unfortunately for him, one of the guns with gunpowder fired, striking his face and severely injuring one of his eyes, preventing him from seeing.
According to sources close to Kofi Adomah, the journalist is currently in Dubai receiving treatment for eye surgery after being shot, resulting in blurred vision.
“He’s now in Dubai seeing to restoring the one eye that is blurry. But it looks like the other one cannot see again,” the source added.
Many individuals who watched the video expressed their sadness over the tragic incident and prayed for the Adom Tv host’s recovery.
This follows after businessman Ibrahim Mahama reached out Kofi Adomah’s family to help fund his eye operation, which is scheduled in Dubai and is expected to cost over $150,000.
