A video has surfaced online showing Luciano Messenjah praising Stonebwoy despite the recent controversy over the Jamaican music legend’s fake patios comment.
The two reggae-dancehall singers met at the Bayfront Reggae/World Music Festival in Minnesota, USA, to excite the audience.
During their meeting, Luciano heaped praises on Stonebwoy by exchanging pleasantries demonstrating his talent and how his songs are making strides across the Caribbean.
In a twist turn of events, Luciano recently called out Stonebwoy in an interview, chastising the Ghanaian dancehall act for using fake patios.
On OnStage Tv, Luciano told renowned broadcaster Winford Williams that Stonebwoy’s lyrics are incomprehensible because Jamaicans difficult to connect with them.
Among the singers he pointed out was Shatta Wale, who Luciano thinks are a disgrace to the Jamaican music community because of the language they use in their songs.
In response, fans were dissatisfied with Luciano’s remarks about Stonebwoy, causing them to play his video with the ‘Overlord’ hitmaker during their event in the US.
They were wondering why he made such remarks on Jamaican National Television in an attempt to undermine Stonebwoy’s craft who had recently won Telecel Artist of the Year.
Fans vented their rage on Luciano, calling him a ‘hypocrite’ for his current comment, despite his earlier warm words to Stonebwoy.
