A video of reggae-dancehall musician Shatta Wale gifting a 19-year-old girl named Priscilla has gone viral online.
The singer, who is currently on tour in Kumasi, presented a whopping sum of GHS20,000 to Priscilla to help her further her education after drawing a portrait of him.
The video, which is making the rounds on social media, shows Shatta Wale telling the young girl’s mother over the phone that he was astonished by her talent.
Priscilla’s mother was impressed by the “On God” singer’s generous gesture, driving her to appear in the studio following their brief conversation.
In the clip, the mother praises Shatta Wale for aiding her daughter in realising her dreams after telling an emotional story of the family’s struggles in getting Priscilla to complete SHS.
Many people have been moved by Shatta Wale’s recent philanthropic efforts, despite well-known for spreading his wings to help those in need.
