Jamaican musician Adidja Azim Palmer, popularly known as Vybz Kartel has shown off his new tattoos with new look in photos after a spending a decade in prison.
The ‘colouring book’ singer inked his mother’s name ‘Therasah’ near the lower half of his right eye and cheek region as a tribute to her, signifying deep connection and love for her.
Vybz Kartel also expresses his gratitude for overcoming the challenges he faced during his time in prison by honoring his faith with ‘Love God’ on his forehead that emphasizes importance of divine intervention in his life.
The tattoo also complements another design depicting his arrest and handcuffing which is inked on the left side of his forehead while looking ‘dhope’ with his braided hair.
In addition to these meaningful tattoos, Kartel has also added the numerical and angel number “238” tattooed on his face which symbolizes a sign of blessing and a new beginning.
Despite his new tattoos garnering more attention, some of his old tattoos such as teardrop and sun flower tattoo designs have remained unchanged for over ten years in confinement.
