Shatta Wale finally met Vybz Kartel in person as he joined the Jamaican dancehall superstar on stage for his much-anticipated Freedom Street event.
Shatta Wale sang his 2024 big hit ‘On God’ on stage alongside Vybz Kartel, whom he considers an idol.
Mansa Musa, Already were among the songs he performed during the show to get the audience grooving on them at Kingston stadium.
During his entry the singer brought a Ghana flag on stage to signify his root and where he came from despite being in the leagues of the Caribbean artistes.
After his performance, Shatta Wale kneeled before Vybz Kartel and saluted him for allowing him to perform in Jamaica for the first time.
“Daddy I just want say thank you so much, I’ve not performed in Jamaica before and this is my first time and I’m always wishing
And looking forward to perform with you more on stage. Jamaica I love you one love” — he concluded.
