Lauren James, a talented Chelsea Fc and England Women’s team player has expressed an interest in going on a dinner date with Nigerian Afrobeats artiste, Burna Boy.
She made this disclosure in a recent interview with Sky News, where she openly stated that the Burna Boy is one of the few people with whom she did like to go on a date with.
The 22-year-old footballer made headlines a few months ago after an on-field confrontation with Super Falcons defender Michelle Alizie during Nigeria’s World Cup round of 16 encounter.
Her altercation with Alizie happens after she was seen on video and photos “intentionally” stepping on Alizie on the pitch after she was brought down, prompting the referee to show her a red card during the game.
Meanwhile, Lauren James is the younger sister of Reece James who currently plays as a defender for Chelsea in the Premier League.

She rose to fame as one of the world’s best young female footballers after joining Chelsea Women from Manchester United Women in 2021.
She was also key player of the England Women’s squad that finished second in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Burna Boy has yet to react to Lauren’s friendly request for a dinner date after the footballer professed interest.
