Ghanaian actor Osuman Idrees popularly known as ‘Yoghurt’ or ‘Yogot’ has reportedly died.
Yoghurt, best known for appearing in the popular series movie ‘Junka Town,’ passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, after suffering with boil throat, family member told Hellovybes.com.
He had been ill with boil in his throat, also known as peritonsillar abscess, caused by a bacteria for several months, but it became more severe and he was rushed to Great Faith Clinic in Anaji, a suburb of Efiakuma, Takoradi this morning.

His burial took place at the Takoradi European Public Cemetary swiftly after his tragic death in accordance with Islamic funeral customs.

Yoghurt rose to fame following the release of Junka Town in 2015, where he played a blind man begging for money on the street.
The film, which also stars Too Much, Hajia Mapuka, and Atemuda, among others, includes a series that reflects the hustling life in Sekondi-Takoradi and uses the Ghanaian accent ‘Taadi Fanti’.
