Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Rema has made it clear that it is insulting to say he’s not on the same pedestal with OGs like Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
This comes after the “Calm Down” hitmaker made a post on X declaring his inclusion in the “Big 4” which goes on to emphasize his current status in the music industry and was dragged online for it.
In his latest song dubbed “HeHeHe”, the 22 years old hitmaker addressed the issue and confronted the ongoing debate surrounding his current position in the Nigerian music industry with a line that read;
“No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.”
Rema has had multiple sold out concerts and events with millions of music sales to his credit but do you think he has reached the level of the “Big 3” yet?
In other developments, Shatta Wale has received advice from Stonebwoy’s biggest fan, Bigscout Nana Prempeh, following his recent tension with his mother.
According to him, Shatta Wale should find it in his heart to forgive his biological mother, even if she has harmed him.
His statement undoubtedly emphasises how motherhood plays a significant role in the lives of their sons because they believe that they bring several blessings.
” Shatta wale go and visit your sick Mom and shame the Màllam (Juju Man)” — Bigscout wrote.
Aside from imparting advice, many have interpreted his statement as implying that the dancehall artist is on a chant to avoid caring for his ailing mother.
