22-Year-Old Woman Dies During Butt Enlargement Surgery

Russian police are probing the sudden death of a woman, 22, during buttock enlargement surgery by an ‘unqualified’ beautician who was her ‘friend’.

The woman, Mika Shabasova, reportedly passed away just ten minutes after being administered local anesthesia for the procedure.

The procedure was performed by an unqualified beautician who happened to be the woman’s friend, raising serious concerns about the risks associated with such practices.

Distressingly,she had already lost her life by the time an ambulance arrived at the location where the surgery took place – the home of the cosmetologist known as Uma M, who is now under house arrest pending further investigation.

According to reports, Uma M had offered the buttock enlargement procedure for a fee of £154, despite having only completed a two-week course on cosmetic procedures.

She admitted to repeatedly anesthetizing the skin of the victim with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, and had asked Mika about any allergies she might have had.

Uma M is described as a former waitress who lacked the necessary license to perform cosmetic surgery.

Despite this, she was undertaking various procedures, including lip, cheek, and buttock enlargements – a highly concerning and dangerous practice.

The cause of Mika Shabasova’s death will be determined through a forensic medical examination, as reported by the 112 media outlet.

The Russian Investigative Committee is actively investigating the incident to establish all relevant circumstances surrounding the tragic event.

A friend of the deceased woman revealed that he had strongly advised Mika against undergoing the buttock procedure, which had been advertised by Uma M.

He stated that the beautician had recently obtained a certificate after completing a short two-week course in cosmetology, having previously worked on lash extensions.

Despite Uma’s lack of qualifications, Mika trusted her friend and went ahead with the procedure.

Three days before the surgery, Mika had been suffering from a fever and had taken time off work.

Living with three other girls in an apartment, they all tried to persuade her not to go to Uma M for the surgery.

However, Mika secretly left the house when everyone was present, called a taxi, and proceeded with the operation. Sadly, within just 15 minutes, she lost her life.

Police have questioned Mika’s friends to gain insights into the sequence of events leading to her tragic death.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks involved in receiving cosmetic procedures from unqualified individuals lacking the necessary licenses and expertise.

As the investigation continues, authorities aim to hold Uma M accountable for her actions and bring justice to Mika Shabasova’s grieving family.
