Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Muntari were among a group of footballers who visited the family of the late Christian Atsu to commiserate with them.
There was other ex-Black Stars players, including Baffour Gyan, Emmanuel Agyamang-Badu, and Haminu Dramani, were present at the former New Castle star’s family home in Ogbodjo, Accra.
Last Saturday, Atsu’s lifeless body was pulled from the rubble of a massive earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, killing over 45,000 people.

His whereabouts after going missing during the massive earthquake became more intense when the rescue team discovered Atsu’s lifeless body two weeks later.
Many people have expressed their condolences to the footballer’s family and loved ones, and tributes have poured in from all over the world.
Abedi Ayew Pele and his family paid a visit to the bereaved family on Monday February 20, and even donated some items to them.
However, more ex-players went to their deceased colleague’s family home on Tuesday, February 21, to console the bereaved family.

A video that has surfaced on internet, shows how players followed the usual traditional greeting of family members in Ghana led by Atsu’s brother, whom many Ghanaians spotted a striking resemblance he shared with the late footballer.

After the players took their seats and the family briefed them on the tragic death of their below Christian Atsu, Asamoah Gyan was seen signing the book of condolences at the family home.
