Burna Boy has thrown his support behind Black Sherif amid the rapper’s ongoing spat with dancehall musician Shatta Wale, which has sparked fan debates.
The Nigerian afrobeat artist shared a photo of himself with Black Sherif after the rapper ridiculed Shatta Wale for wearing fake Calvin Klein underpants.
The post, which did not come with a caption, shows Burna and Blacko’s previous collaboration on the remix video shoot for their 2022 smash single “Second Sermon.”
In response to the post, many have questioned Burna Boy’s support for Black Sherif in the midst of his ongoing conflict with the SM boss.
Prior to Black Sherif’s mockery to Shatta Wale, the singer threatened to kill his career after making a similar move to demeaning him with his fashion choices.
Shatta then requested an apology from Black Sherif, despite his previous comments on Blacko on the podcast, which suggested the ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ hitmaker seek out a good stylist.
As for Burna Boy and Shatta Wale, the two heavyweight artists have several social media feuds. They are currently not in good terms following their strained relationship some years back.
