Promoters and event organisers have reportedly refused to pay Ghanaian highlife legend Amakye Dede after his Ghana X Germany concert performance in Berlin.
According to reports monitored by Hellovybes, Amakye Dede who is also known as Abrantie, demanded a sum of €1000 from the promoters.
The initial date for the ‘Amakye Dede Live Germany’ event was June 15th, but it was postponed due to an unknown cause by the organisers.
Ogidi Brown, who was also billed as one of the performing artists, expressed his disappointment with the cancellation of the show, advising his supporters to be calm for an update.

However, in a surprise turn of events, Amakye Dede performed last night in Berlin, delighting fans who were eager to see the legendary singer perform.
His performance in Berlin was anticipated to wow fans with his timeless hits and captivating stage presence, but confusion broke during the show.
Things became more heated after Amakye Dede was denied payment by promoters who failed to respect their financial obligations to the musician following his performance.
Despite meeting his contractual responsibilities and producing a fantastic performance, Amakye Dede has yet to receive the agreed-upon payment for his participation in the event.
