The announcement of Stonebwoy’s impending Bhim Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium elicited significant emotions from internet users.
The Afro dancehall artist recently announced on social media the 7th edition of the Bhim Concert, which will take place on December 22, 2023.
Although he hasn’t revealed the list of musicians for the highly anticipated event, it has generated a lot of buzz due to a notable change in the venue.
The “Into the Future” hitmaker said in his statement that he was shifting the event from the Accra International Conference Centre, which can seat 6,000 people, to the larger Accra Sports Stadium, which can accommodate 40,000 people.

Some Ghanaians expressed their enthusiasm and praised Stonebwoy for putting his talents to the test for changing location after six years.
Others, however, made comparisons and suggested that he would be following in the footsteps of his former rival, reggae dancehall musician Shatta Wale, who held a successful event called the “Freedom Wave Concert” last year at the Accra Sports Stadium.
