Police arrested Fella Makafui for allegedly selling fake products and defrauding the public.
Fella Makafui’s arrest follows after Pharmacy Council released a statement on Thursday, May 24.
According to the organisation, the reason for Fella’s detention was that they discovered the products sold by the actress were absolutely fake after a six-month investigation on her social media handles particularly TikTok.
The statement also noted that the products were unregistered, resulting in false advertising without their permission.
The Pharmacy Council Ghana then claims to have seized some of the products at Fella Makafui’s shop after discovering that they are not approved by the FDA.
