Entertainment critic and pundit, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has said that, Ghanaian artists should forget about winning Grammys, if they are not following the right channel.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Arnold highlighted various Grammy requirements, rules and regulations that the coveted awards organisers use to get artist nominated.
He emphasised that if Ghanaian musicians do not follow simple procedures and market their songs in the US under an established record labrl, they should forget about winning Grammys.
His statement came after fans heavily mocked Stonebwoy for not receiving a Grammy nomination despite his efforts to be considered.
In response to Stonebwoy’s Grammy snub, Arnold stated that if Stonebwoy had received a Grammy nomination, people would have mocked Shatta Wale.
According to him, with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s respective fanbases, things would have flipped around and started troll Shatta Wale if the Burniton Music Boss had been nominated for this year’s award event.
