Ghanaian reggae-dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has praised Nigerian artists and how they make their entertainment shows enticing.

This comes after Nigerian rave musician Asake sold out priority tickets for his O2 Arena Academy concert in less than two minutes after they went on sale.

The ticketing platform “Cokobar” took to their official Twitter account to inform music fans and lovers that their website had crashed due to high demand for pre-sale tickets for Asake’s O2 Arena Academy concert.

However, Shatta Wale took to his official Instagram to post a video praising Nigerians and their artists, including Asake, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Olamide, claiming that when it comes to Showbiz and Event Hosting in Africa, Nigerians have no match.

According to him, after listening to songs by Asake, Burna Boy, Olamide, Wizkid, and Davido, he realized that Ghanaian musicians are not doing enough to match the level of Nigerians and entertainment people because Ghana’s entertainment industry system is not well structured.

“Nigerians shows makes Ghana shows look like our day for class 2 children Me I just bought 2 tickets to go watch ASAKE— Shatta Wale posted

Shatta Wale went on to say that Nigerians should build universities all over Africa to use their entertainment tools and mechanisms to help other countries reach their potential.
