Right Reverend Joseph M.Y. Edusa-Eyison has caught the attention of social media users after urging Christians, especially members of the Methodist Church to allocate a portion of their ‘Wills’ to the church during a sermon at the Immanuel Methodist Society at the Airport East Circuit of the Northern Accra Diocese.
According to him, the elderly members of the church who are gearing towards their end time must consider allocating portions of their properties in their wills to the church as they would be remembered years after “they die” as reported by the Daily Graphic.
His statement has generated an uproar online as it has not sat well with netizens who feel the man of God is calling for the death of his elderly church members.
Reverend Joseph M.Y. Edusa-Eyison will be looking forward to his retirement in September this year marking the end of his 6-year service as Bishop of the Northern Accra Diocese.
This comes after the founder and leader of the Believers Worship Center, Stephen Adom Kyei Duah also made it known to his church members that his face will be used to replace that of Jesus Christ in the next 5 centuries.
