Gramps Morgan Is 52% Ghanaian, 9% Nigerian - DNA Test Reveals

Jamaican reggae musician Gramps Morgan of Moregan Heritage is of Ghanaian ancestry. He is 52% Ghanaian, according to DNA test results.

The Grammy-winning artist made the disclosure after being welcomed in Ghana by dancehall musician Shatta Wale on Tuesday, April 18, 2022.

Morgan was greeted at Kotoka International Airport by thousands of fans, as troops from the Ga group danced excitedly to meet him.

However, according to Grams Morgan, he took a DNA test, and the results indicate that his ancestors were originated in Ghana and Nigeria, with 52% and 9%, respectively.

“By the way, Shatta Movement news exclusive, I did a DNA test to check my African ancestry and i am 52% Ghanaian and 19% Nigerian…It is official” – Gramps Morgan said.
