Popular South African Music Producer Oupa John Sefoka popularly known as DJ Sumbody is dead
The Amapiano hitmaker was shot dead in the early hours of Sunday, November 20 in Johannesburg.
How DJ Sumbody Was Shot Dead
Local news platforms reported that DJ Sumbody and his crew were traveling on Woodmead Road when unidentified shooters confronted them and sprayed them with bullets.
The entertainer and one of his bodyguards both died after being caught in a hail of bullets.
Third victim, believed to be one of DJ Sumbody’s bodyguards, is in critical condition after miraculously surviving the hail of bullets.
The Monate Mpolaye crooner, DJ Sumbody was scheduled to perform at the All White Veuve Clicquot Picnic on Sunday before the attack.

Confirming the attack, Gauteng police said they are hunting for suspects and investigating the circumstances underlying a shooting in Woodmead.
DJ Sumbody Cause Of Death
When asked how DJ Sumbody was shot dead over his murderous attack, family member Motlakadi revealed that the demise’s friend did it out of jealousy.
“The people who did this, did it out of jealousy.” She said he was a respectful individual who loved his family and was generous.

“Motlakaladi said she personally loved listening to his music. “He respected the elderly. He was always available to help family,”— said Motlakaladi.
The family, fans and music lovers took to social media to express their shock at the death of their beloved son, DJ Sumbody.
