Renowned Afro dancehall artist Stonebwoy has dismissed claims of being an “industry boy,” stating that his success was not a product of deliberate efforts by the music industry.
Speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz Show with host Andy Dosty on Thursday, November 28, Stonebwoy explains that the industry did not play a major role in crafting his career.
He describes the label as a mere talk and emphasizes that his rise to fame came through his own hard work and persistence.
Stonebwoy also shares that, the industry has been in existence to help and support everyone in the creative art including artists for growth and well-being of creative art.
“I’m not an industry boy to be that the industry sat down to crafted me. The industry is responsible for creative. I dont just give it too much value because it just a talk and we know where it coming from. They’ve spoken it so many times to just contrast against themselves but thats not the truth” — he said during the interview.
