Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton, has spoken about the difficulties she and her husband went through when they were unable to conceive children.

The gospel singer through a great deal of hardship in her union until she was ultimately able to conceive and give birth, which took more than six years and throughout that period, she cried herself to sleep every night.

Diana Hamilton said clearly in an interview on JOY Prime that she wants women who are unable to have children to be treated with dignity because of all she went through

“When the end of each month rolled around and my hopes were dashed, I would cry. You don’t weep like an unbeliever when you’re a Christian; you weep with hope. “You’re being a hypocrite if you don’t shed a tear. It was a miracle, and I sobbed, but I believed in God”

Diana Hamilton added that a lot of her songs were greatly influenced by the joy she experienced after becoming a mother. She now thinks that the harsh treatment and the stream of tears were worthwhile.

The “Adom” singer also shared that she almost died from a fatal condition. ‘During the height of Covid, when visitors were banned and I feared for my life, I was hospitalized for about six days and nobody could tell me what was wrong’.

“They ran tests, and they still can’t tell me what it is. My rate of infection was rising, and they were using every antibiotic available; but, at the peak of my anxieties, God brought about a miraculous cure.

Diana Hamilton, 43, married Dr. Joseph Hamilton in 2005 and they celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in 2021. The couple is the parents of twins .The couple has a set of twins.

Aside being  gospel musician, Diana Hamilton has a ventured into fashion which she is the brain behind DH by DH clothing line.

Her clothing line fashion company was unveiled in early March of last year, and they deal with locally generated wax prints fused with beautiful materials sourced from all around the world.
