Guru has boldly declared his ambition to become the president of Ghana one day despite being well-known as a musician.
Guru, speaking to Berla Mundi on Tv3’s ‘The Day Show’ programme, reveals his intention to become the country’s first gentleman in the near future.
The comment follows Guru, who is currently completing his education at Legon University, where he is studying Political Science and Information Studies.
The rapper’s educational journey has boosted his political campaign for the SRC president position at the Accra-based tertiary institution
Guru, in a surprising announcement of his intention to run for president of Ghana, highlights the influence he has had in the Ghanaian music industry, citing no scandals associated with his brand throughout his lengthy musical career.
According to him, his accountability and honesty as a musician have qualify him to occupy the Jubilee House presidential podium of Ghanaian political space.
He emphasizes how he has realised what the people of Ghana desire and is ready to serve them as a leader by example if elected.
Guru also addresses the issues that Legon SRC students are currently facing, claiming that students are using ID cards to enter the school rather using Biometric with thumbs in order to save time.

Meanwhile, Guru, born Maradona Yeboah Adjei, is a hiplife musician and rapper best known for his hit tracks Lapaz Toyota and Alkayida (Boys Abre), among others. He had his through in 2011 and has won multiple awards, solidifying his status as one of best musicians in Ghana.
