American rapper, Meek Mill has reversed his stance on how he lost his iPhone last Thursday before his performance at the Afro Nation concert.
The Philadelphia rapper revealed on Instagram that he had been pickpocketed and his phone had been stolen.
An intervention and appeal by reggae-dancehall musician Shatta Wale reportedly resulted in the retrieval of the phone within 24 hours.
It appeared that the dust had settled the matter until the suspect identified as Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa was arrested on Friday , 30th December, 2022 at his hideout in Accra after the rapper reported the case on 29th December, 2022 – Police said in the statement.

In a tweet hours after the police announcement, Mill said he was not even sure how he lost the phone and that all he needed was to get it back.
Meek Mill also stated in his tweet that, while the suspect in his stolen phone has been apprehended, he does not want anyone to end up in a police station.
“I coulda dropped that phone on a dirt bike I don’t actually know for a fact somebody went in my pocket! I got it back that’s all I needed I don’t need anybody locked up for a phone.., I don’t even know what happened to it” – he tweeted
