A catholic priest often referred to as a Roman Father has found himself in hot waters after jamming to King Paluta’s viral hit song ‘Aseda’ during church service.
Reverend Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, went viral last week after a video showed him singing “Aseda” by King Paluta during a wedding ceremony he was officiating.
In the viral video, Reverend Father Peter Kusi Twumasi raised the song while preaching forgiveness to the new couple.
He was joined by sleepy congregants to enthusiastically sing the song to climax the service.
While many Ghanaians and music lovers saw the cuteness with his gesture, senior authorities were unhappy with his actions and scolded him behind the scenes.

In an twist turn of events, Rev. Kusi Twumasi has offered heartfelt apologies in a letter after singing and jamming to ‘Aseda’ song by King Paluta
According to him, he feels very regretful and will solely accept all the responsibilities and shame brought by himself to the community.
He continued to extend his wings by pleading for forgiveness from the National Liturgical Commission and other leaders for his offence.

Rev. Kusi then vowed to adhere to Catholic practices and principles. The snippet of letter reads below:
“I let my guard down and allowed a secular influence to enter our sacred space. I realise now that my mistake has caused offence and confusion, and for that, I am truly sorry.”
