Hopeson Adorye, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, has expressed displeasure following his dismissal for supporting Trade and Industry Minister Alan Kyeremanteng’s bid to lead the party into the 2024 presidential election.

Hopeson Adorye, who previously worked for the National Security Ministry, revealed his predicament on Accra-based Oman FM’s Boiling Point program, which he appears on on a regular basis.

Following the loss of his job, the former parliamentary aspirant has chosen to rely on God for survival.

“God will cater for us, uncle (referring to the show’s host), God has got us,” Adorye stated. “We worked hard in opposition to bring Akufo-Addo to power, and we will do the same for Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.”

He recounted how his dismissal was communicated to him and the reason for it, emphasizing that despite what he deems a stab in the back, he will survive.

“I’m not a zombie, uncle; I was told that my support is not towards a particular camp so I should be dismissed.” ‘Your appointment has been terminated with immediate effect.’ That is why I stress that God will provide for us and that we will never die”.

Adorye went further and say that he was certain his dismissal letter did not come from National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah.
