John Mahama, President-elect has unveiled an ambitious 120-day agenda aimed at transforming Ghana and addressing critical national issues following his victory in the 2024 elections.
The plan, which includes ’26 policies of Mahama,’ promises to boost economic recovery, improve infrastructure, improve social services, and foster national unity, signalling his determination to achieve swift and rapid change for the country.
The 26 policies of Mahama includes; Scraping of taxes and E-levies, No-Academic-Fee for first year tertiary students, Free Education to Persons with Disabilities under MahamaCares, Free distribution of Sanitary Pad to Females in Primary & Secondary Schools among others.
Following the conclusion of the December 7 polls, Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia officially conceded defeat on December 8, highlighting his commitment to maintaining peace and fostering a smooth transition of power.
Dr. Bawumia pledged to assist the incoming administration when needed and commended the electorate for participating in the democratic process.
The policies outlined by Mahama are expected to set the tone for his administration’s approach to governance, signaling a commitment to addressing the country’s most urgent needs.
