In a shocking revelation, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong accused Francis Asenso Boakye and Kwasi Annin Yeboah over alleged confiscation and illegal acquisition of state owned lands and properties.
He claims that Asenso, the Minister for Works and Housing, and the former Chief Justice are involved in plundering government property, including the late Justice Marfo Sau’s residence.
During a press conference, Agyapong promised to make serious allegations against Asenso while also accusing him of bribery and corruption.
The issue began after Asenso Boakye was said to have promised Ghc5k to NPP delegates in exchange for their votes in the primary elections. Responding to this, Agyapong sought to prove his wealth superiority.
Kennedy Agyapong’s motivations appear to focus around getting the NPP parliamentary ticket for Bantama for his brother, Ralph Opoku Agyapong, which fuels his constant push and assertions within the party.
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, when addressing the delegates said: “You should question the former Chief Justice and Judiciary about the late Justice Marfo Sau’s residence, which belongs to the government but has done all possible to get the ownership”
He went on to advise John Mahama and Bawumia that whomever wins the 2024 election ought to investigate and reclaim Justice Marfo Sau’s lands and properties.
