Lynda Ddane, a popular Ugandan media personality has been accused of contracting HIV after her new look that appeared online.
The report comes after Lynda Ddane whose real name is Lynda Uwamahoro Ddane, was heavily dragged on Twitter (now X) for her unexpected weight loss.
Many people were wondering if the claim was true assuming the socialite had passed on the disease among her colleagues in the media.
Others argued that the charges were completely incorrect because her weight loss was part of the recovery process, but critics tried to turn a blind eye to it.
DJ Lynda Ddane’s HIV allegations follow her weight loss, which raised concerns about her health.
People speculated that her slimmer look, which sparked conversation, was the result of an illness.

Lynda Ddane responded to all of the claims levelled against her by hosting a live presentation on Instagram to prove to sceptics that all of the accusations are hearsay.
She conducted an HIV test during the live event, and the results showed she is negative.
DJ Ddane told her followers that she was not sick because her weight reduction was not a health issue, as many had claimed earlier.
She also expressed gratitude to those who stood by her and showed empathy during her difficult moments.
