Ghanaian mothers and market women have been left in tears after an investment company they patronized was abruptly closed down without any solid reasons.
According to reports making rounds on social media, Bank of Ghana closed down the Dek-Nock investment company located at Nungua-Buade for operating without a license and told customers to calm down but that is not happening anytime soon.
In a video shared on our Instagram page, scores of customers could be seen at the premises of the investment bank attempting to retrieve their money but the owner is alleged nowhere to be found.

According to a Facebook page by the name Anonymous Tales, the manager has traveled outside with the customers’ money to start his life afresh.
It is understood that, Dek-Nock customers have lost a substantial sum of money, with their life savings locked up with the company.

The customers, some of whom are said to have lost over Ghc 60,000, are now left in shambles as they face another Menzgold saga, leaving them penniless.

Meanwhile, Bank of Ghana issuing an official statement to address why Dek-Nock Investment was shut down claims it was due to the company engaging in an authorized deposit-taking activities.
According to BoG, the action taken against Dek-Nock was with the accordance with section 20(g) of the Banks and Specialised Deposit-taking institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).
Dek Nock Investments board of directors and it owners on the other hand are yet speak about the company’s disclosure.
