Shatta Wale’s mother Madam Evelyn Elsie Avemagah has made a shocking statement, asserting that her son has ignored her for over ten years, adding that she is very ill.
The disclosure comes after a family member named Sharita reported that Madam Elsie is in critical condition and needs medical attention.
It was also revealed that the singer’s mother is struggling with accommodation and monetary issue which has contributed to her current condition.
In recent statement, Madam Elsie has taken to social media to address a trending issue involving her and complicated health issues.
She was shown in a self-recorded video confirming that her current situation is critical and that she requires assistance from Ghanaians.
Madam Elsie also lamented that Shatta Wale neglected her for a long time without providing her with needed care by offering her money or food for survival.
‘Is true that I am sick and dying at the moment, my son since about 10 years or more now I’ve not spoken with him… he doesn’t know where I live, he doesn’t know what I eat but I think I can cope with it like that— she said.
Speaking on her current condition, Madam Elsie states “now it has gotten to a time that my health has started dropping. I am seriously ill and I’m not well at all. I am not an elderly woman, but due overthinking and my sickness, I seem quite old”.

The dispute between Shatta Wale and his mother erupted a few days after he declared his love for his late stepmother, Stellar stating he loved her more than his biological mother.
He reveals that, despite his disagreements with his late stepmother, she never sat in front of televisions to humiliate him, as his mother did to him.
