Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the Head of Corporate Communications at the Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC), has called for an apology from A Plus after he referred to him as “stupid” on UTV.
This request comes in response to a group of individuals, believed to be NPP supporters, who stormed UTV’s United Showbiz, leading to A Plus launching a furious attack on Owusu Bempah.
A Plus asserted that, based on information he had gathered regarding the disruption of the show, it was Owusu Bempah who had orchestrated the intrusion to disrupt discussions that often criticized the NPP Party.
A portion of A Plus’s statement during the show read, “Ernest Owusu-Bempah is said to have mobilized the goons who stormed here. He spent two weeks assembling them, but it only took me 30 minutes to organize three groups of people to bring them here… He’s very stupid, I am cautioning him.”

In response to this incident, Owusu Bempah took to social media to demand an apology from A Plus, claiming that the outspoken parliamentary hopeful had harmed his reputation on national television.
According to him, A Plus made a false allegation by linking him to the incident.
Owusu-Bempah concluded the statement by warning that if A Plus fails or refuses to issue the demanded apology, he will have no other option but to instruct his lawyers to institute legal action for the damage and injury caused to his integrity.
