Hopeson Adorye, a former NPP member and Alan Kyerematen’s Director of Special Duties, has called for the arrest of incumbent President Nana Akufo Addo due to bad leadership.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘Mpu Ne Mpu’ show, Hopeson believes Akufo Addo should face prosecution after his term for deliberately causing financial harm to the state.
He made this statement while discussing the challenges that the country is facing after John Mahama won the 2024 elections.
He did suggest that President-elect Mahama should take immediate action by prosecuting those engaged in illegal mining (Galamsey) under the NPP and Akufo Addo’s government.
Hopeson Ardoye, in his explanation of why Akufo Addo should be investigated and locked up contends that citizens, particularly media outlets, do not question the country’s expenditure.
He then claims to expose government official who are responsible for the country’s collapse through illegal land and forestry activities that harm both the state and its citizens.
