Ghanaian preacher Prophet Kwabena Okumdom has sparked discussions online after claiming that Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, may not spend up to six months in prison despite receiving a 20-year sentence.
In a self-recorded video shared on his TikTok page, Prophet Okumdom, who is known for sharing spiritual interpretations and dream-related messages, said he had a vision in which he saw the embattled politician being released earlier than expected.
According to the preacher, an intervention he described as a “call from above” would play a role in Wontumi’s possible release.
He further claimed that the development would bring positive changes to the Ashanti Region, suggesting that the businessman and politician would return to contribute significantly to the area’s growth.
“I saw Chairman Wontumi released without serving his full jail term within six months after receiving a phone call from above,” Prophet Okumdom stated.
