American business mogul and musician, Sean Diddy Combs has finally been arrested in New York.
The rapper, who is currently in federal custody, was apprehended in his midtown hotel on Monday night, September 16, 2024, for an ongoing investigation involving alleged sɛ*x trafficking and other offences, leading to search warrants being filed and executed at Diddy’s homes in Beverly Hills and Mi.
According to reports, Diddy was transported to the FBI Field Office in Manhattan after being apprehended by federal agents.
The report also adds that, the hotel where he was staying cannot confirm whether there was a massive search following his arrest.
Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, reacts to the news of his arrest, expressing dissatisfaction following a swift intervention by federal, despite his scheduled arrest on Tuesday, September 17.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S’ – Marc Agnifilo told TMZ.
He continued; Sean “Diddy” Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.”
Agnifilo adds, “He is an imperfect person but is not criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
However Sean Diddy Combs is yet to speak and plead guilty after federal agent indictment over alleged relationship tips trafficking charges and other offenses.
