Reggae Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has finally explained why his Konekt album was deleted from YouTube amid copyright infringement reports.
According to a Facebook post by Shatta Wale, he deliberately took down the album from the streaming platform, not the other way around.
Despite refusing to give a specific cause for the Konekt Album’s removal, Shatta Wale stated that he does not take his financial situation lightly.
“Nobody handles my YouTube ,I run things on that platform myself . So no one deleted the #Konekt album ..I DID IT MYSELF .. YES THATS ME !!! SHATTA WALE !!! I DONT PLAY WITH MY MONEY !!!!” — He posted.
As reported by hellovybes.com earlier today that, Konekt was was eliminated from his YouTube Channel just a month after it was officially released.
The album’s release comes after Shatta Wale refused to release his Gift of God (GOG) album, claiming it was leaked by an unknown person on Apple Music and other digital platforms.

He also stated in an interview on 3music that the GOG album was cancelled due to some poor judgement offered by unscrupulous individuals to major and corporate bodies with which he intended to work.
“I’m not the first person to have their album leaked online. Gift Of God was a big album that I wanted to put a lot of support behind. But you go to a company, and they tell you that someone has tipped us off that Shatta doesn’t respect anybody…If people can be that mean to me to tell others that I don’t respect, well, maybe you have an artiste that pretends there’s no problem. For me, I’m looking for money.” — Shatta Wale said as quoted by yen.com.gh.
In other matters, KiDi claimed that Shatta Wale’s collaboration with Beyoncé opened the door for many Ghanaian musicians.

His remarks come after he indicated an interest in working with Beyoncé, and Drake should get the opportunity.
According to him, collaborating with the aforementioned renowned artists would help him gain worldwide recognition and learn about their cultural values, which he could then explore in other parts of the world.
