Popular Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Yogot has expressed his profound admiration for reggae/dancehall legend, Shatta Wale as he reveals that the outspoken musician is his role model in the music industry.
According to the ‘biibi besi’ hitmaker, he is working hard to achieve a similar status of the Shatta Wale and control such a loyal fanbase.
He made these revelations while speaking with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, where he shared that he personally resonates with Shatta Wale’s life and career journey.

Kwame Yogot also used the opportunity to encouraged fellow musicians to observe and follow Shatta Wale’s example if they aspire to succeed in the music industry because in doing that, they will be able to stay resilient in the face of criticism and negativity.
“I would say that my role model is Shatta Wale. Before I can take a breather in my career, I should be able to attain the level of Shatta Wale.
I mean who else should I emulate? I have learnt a lot of things from him, to be honest, before deciding to take up music, I had to understand him for a while.
I used to be offended and used to reply to insults from fans and internet users, but I reckoned that even my role model, Shatta Wale, occasionally comes under backlash, so why should I be offended,” he remarked.
